The frame dates to the late 1940s–early 1950s and features turned legs, a shaped apron, and a lower caned shelf ideal for books, baskets, or a folded throw. Original brass cup casters include two factory brake-flat wheels — a classic mid-century detail that adds both character and stability.

The seat is newly upholstered in Braemore’s “Pheasant Hunt” fabric, a woven designer textile with pheasants, foliage, and deep paisley tones that echo the layered look of a Ralph Lauren library or country house interior. The colors play beautifully against the warm wood and natural cane.
