They do not look like typical Staffordshire figures--they are heavier than most and the crackle glaze seems thicker. One is slightly smaller than the other, perhaps by 1/4" or so. With the flattened sides of the cabbages they are standing on, they may have been bookends. In any case, they are a colorful pair in great condition. See less
