Lovely vintage blue and white ikebana flower brick made in Portugal. This is a hexagonal porcelain piece with holes in the top to hold flower stems. The blue floral and vine motifs are hand-painted on a white background.
The base has handwritten text and a marker's mark and indicates that this is an "authorized copy" of a design, possibly from the 17th century (SEC XV11). (The pattern is similar to the classic Royal Copenhagen "Blue Fluted Plain" design). The letter "LN" and "1200" are likely part of the specific design or production code.
