Vintage black glass rocking horse ink blotter. This Art Deco desk item was made by the L.J. Houze Glass Company, beginning in 1931. It is made of opaque black glass.
The curved base was designed to hold a piece of felt or a blotting pad with small clips to absorb excess ink from fountain pens.
Missing back clip.
One crack in the center of the horse. Does not take away from the beauty of this piece.
