This porcelain collector plate features a trumpeting archangel Gabriel motif with gold accents and a laurel wreath border on a green background. The plate is manufactured by Mottahedeh and is part of the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The design is adapted from a rare 1777 pattern book, inspired by classical motifs revived after the unearthing of Pompeii. It is recommended to hand-wash the plate to preserve the luster of the gold.
