These beautiful wine-colored Justin Tharaud amethyst-colored lead crystal wine glasses are simply luxurious and admittedly, quite stunning. These hard to find goblets are in what appears to be the beautiful deep-colored Monoco Cranberry pattern.
Each piece of Tharaud Crystal maintains the hallmark of quality by being blown from a blend of the purest white silver sand and lead oxide to achieve a crystal of unparalleled clarity, brilliance, full ringing tone and ample weight. When skillfully engraved by our master copper wheel craftsmen, the light refractions in Tharaud Crystal are equal only to those found in fine cut diamonds. The secret of this achievement has been handed down from father to son and represents the strong tradition in engraving excellence maintained by Tharaud Designs to this day. These vintage wine goblets feature hand-cut oval shapes around the bowl, and the stem is a gorgeous work of art — sculptured and faceted with three bulbs on each stem which make gripping the goblets all the easier.
This set of seven (7) beautifully designed vintage stemware stopped me in my tracks about 25 years ago while shopping in a Minneapolis antique store, so I immediately grabbed them up and have used them sporadically over the years; they are especially beautiful for holiday dining. These goblets really are lovely and will let your dinner guests know they are loved and appreciated.
