Stunning vintage Marbro Lamp Company table lamp featuring hand-blown Venetian Murano glass body with dramatic diagonal swirl pattern, circa 1970s.
Authenticated by original UL label (Issue B-2946), Marbro Lamp Co. Los Angeles markings, and "Grants Marbro Original New World Style" designation. The "New World Style" marking indicates Marbro's premium line of Italian glass imports with custom American brass fittings.
The hand-blown glass body showcases traditional Murano latticino technique with flowing swirl pattern throughout. Triple cluster socket configuration with quality Leviton hardware, ornate cast brass fittings, and substantial pedestal base. When illuminated, light plays beautifully through the swirl pattern creating sculptural drama.
Excellent vintage condition - glass body pristine with no chips or cracks. Superior to comparable examples recently sold at auction. All brass fittings intact, sockets rewired and ready for use. Light patina to brass as expected for age.
Marbro Lamp Company (founded 1923, Los Angeles) was renowned for importing finest Italian Murano glass and pairing with expertly crafted American fittings. Highly collectible mid-century modern lighting.
