These plates are designed specifically for serving … Read more Nice set of five vintage Neuwirth white majolica artichoke plates made in Portugal. These plates are designed specifically for serving artichokes and feature a raised, embossed artichoke or sunflower design with a glossy finish. Before I determined that these were artichoke serving dishes, I imagined a number of creative uses for them including small cocktail party serving plate with a holder for one deviled egg and dip or salsa. One plate has a very small chip on an embossed leaf on the outer rim, it is very hard to see, and does not affect the utility. Otherwise they are all in very good condition, with light to no signs of wear. Measure about 10" across and 1 high. On three sturdy feet to create a sturdy base. See less
