This beautifully crafted screen features intricate openwork carving throughout, depicting scrolling foliage and floral motifs highlighted by an aged gilt finish. The three arched top panels slide into place and are present but loose, each showing areas of damage. Aside from these upper sections, the remainder of the screen appears to be in wonderful antique condition, with richly detailed carving and a warm, timeworn surface.
