A Louis XVI style mahogany Bouillotte table, circa 1950. A Carrara marble top with pierced-brass gallery rests atop a deep frieze fitted with a single drawer and supported by four turned legs holding a lower shelf having detailed brass trim and terminating in trumpet-form feet finished by brass ferrules. The apron of bleached mahogany accented by cross-banded detail, the lower shelf of bleached mahogany, and, in subtle contrast, legs of warm natural mahogany - each retaining its original lustrous finish perfectly accented by the warmth of the brass detail.
Ideal for use as either side/accent table or bedside table.
