Likely originating in Bali, possibly even Burma, the Southeast Asian antique hand carved and painted red religious folk art figure depicting a stag deer with real, authentic four point antlers, full body form standing over base with pyramid adorned with relief carving of the sun, finished on all sides, richly detailed, an exceptional conversation starter or decorative arts display.

The wooden sculpture is in good condition with beautifully aged patina over the whole. Presents very well. Organically distressed finish, worn, faded and full of antique character marks, rustic charm and historic depth aquired from well over a century of life.
