The painting … Read more Design Plus Gallery presents "Summer Morning", an Original Oil Painting from Artist Hilla Hueber, signed and dated 2010. The painting was part of her Seascapes series inspired by her life in Northern California close to the Pacific Ocean. Even though her landscapes and seascapes are mostly abstract paintings, careful observation in nature is always at the beginning. In the studio the artist conjures up a memory, rarely supported by a photograph. As the painting unfolds, she then captures the mood the scene evoked in me when I first observed it. This original piece is signed on the frame, beneath the stretched canvas. It is in good condition with minimal signs of visible wear. See less
