It is an American-made piece, featuring a beautiful vintage cast iron roan-colored mare from the 1930s to 1940s. The figurine is mounted on a mahogany wood plinth base and retains its original hand-painted decorative features.

In very nice, all-original condition, it does have a few small chips in the paint, just vintage appropriate natural occurrence due to its age. Hubley cast iron was famous for producing highly detailed, durable, and collectible toys, including realistic model cars, motorcycles (like Harley-Davidsons), trucks, and airplanes, as well as popular doorstops often depicting animals or cartoon characters, banks, and toy stoves.
