It is one of the original pieces, not one of the newer, cheaply made versions. The craftsmanship is of high quality, and you can appreciate its beauty in both the casting and the substantial weight of the brass, which has developed a lovely, deep patina over the years.

This doorknocker is the perfect welcoming symbol for the front door of a beach house, coastal home, or any residence by the water. It is a statement piece that will be noticed by every guest. In fact, this is the largest version we have encountered.
