Finely drawn and shaded, nine heavenly peaches of immortality are ripening on the branches of their flowering, leafy tree, with linghzhi at the trunk amid five, fluttering, red Fu Bats. A red, six character, Qianlong, reign mark within double squares is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China period, no later than mid century.

Nine Peaches: nine symbolizes infinity, and peaches, longevity, thus a wish for infinite longevity.

Five red Fu Bats: Wu Fu, the five blessings, wealth, health, long life, love of virtue and a peaceful death. Red is the color of joy. See less
