Marking a refined chapter in decorative porcelain, this set of two plates features hand-painted birds perched among flowering branches and botanical imagery, rendered in a softly muted palette of greens, blues, mauves and gold-trim accents. The scalloped rims and fine gilding hint at European porcelain export traditions, possibly German or Austrian manufacture, circa 1950s-60s. Each plate carries a decorative presence perfectly suited for display on a wall, in a curio cabinet or as part of a layered tabletop vignette.
