The plate dates to late 19th, best of the best quality work, phenomenal hand painting on porcelain. Gorgeous gilt / gold decorated border red green base. Center medallion features Louise, The Duchess Of Portsmouth, a young lady with a castle in the background. It is marked below her portrait "Louise Duchess Of Portsmouth". Painting is signed / initialed in lower right "P.J.R.". Back of the plate is marked with a blue period Beehive mark on stark white base. Condition is very good, near mint (please see photos). Size is large and impressive " diameter wide. This is a great addition to any quality collection! See less
