The piece is documented … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opalescent orange and white Italian art glass fish sculpture / paperweight. The piece is documented to designer Archimede Seguso, in the "Alabastro" design. It still retains an original red and gold lettering label underneath, which reads "Archimede Seguso - Murano - Made In Italy". The label was used during the late 1970s to 1980s, even though the shape of the fish was introduced earlier. It is very well sculpted by the artist, with big eyes, applied fins on the side and flowing large tail. The color fades from the orange at the front of the face, to almost all white at the tips of the tail fin. Would make a great display piece on any desk, curio cabinet or vanity. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Cute angel fish shape. Late Mid-century era. Measures: 4 5/8“ tall x 5 1/2" long x almost 2" wide. Has a small nick to the bottom tail fin.
