Rapin was a major architect of the time who played an important role in the Paris 1925 Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts. This was the exposition that established the period of Art Deco. This lithograph appeared in a French periodical showcasing that show. It is original to 1925 and NOT a recent reproduction print. It showcases the Salon for une Ambassade. Note the elaborate detailing in the room's design...the panelling, the arhitectural features, the murals, the scultpure, the objets d'art and, of course, the furnishings set on the period rug. The image is in excellent condition, with a warm color palette and clean borders. 12.75 x 8.5 inches in size. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16" x 20" custom mat, ready for a standard size frame. Please allow time for this custom matting. See less
