Drawing of the lunch counter of C.O. Bigelow in New York by artist Myriam Cahn (1933-2018). Bigelow's lunch counter was discontinued the next year, but the apothecary still operates as the oldest in the United States (since 1838). The man in the drawing might be Jerry Ginsberg, the proprietor.
