Vintage Louis XVI-style Bergère square back chair that has classic lines with fluted legs, x-motif rosettes, scroll arms and a down loose seat cushion. Ready for your vision, the walnut wood frame itself is high-quality, hand-carved and solid hardwood. It will require new upholstery.

- The frame is in amazing shape for its age. It is solid, heavy, structurally in excellent condition and the same … moreThe frame is in amazing shape for its age. It is solid, heavy, structurally in excellent condition and the same goes for the original finish. The fabric has been vacuumed, seat cover has been stain treated and washed, however, it will require new upholstery. One side of the seat cushion has a large stain (see photo), there is all over sun fading, fraying to trim edges, etc. There are 2 straps underneath that need to be tightened, attached back to the back of the edge of the frame to support the springs (see photos). This can be sorted by the person doing the reupholstery job. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase or to send more photos if needed. less
