Italian Modern Credenza With Mirrored Doors.
Offered is a late mid-century Italian cabinet, sideboard, credenza or buffet realized in the 1960's by Paolo Buffa.
This handsome cabinet is made of a beautiful exotic wood with great patina and has two doors with golden marbleized mirrored panel fronts.
This credenza is unsigned however we have seen similar examples documented in publications on Paolo Buffa.
Paolo Buffa was an active furniture designer during the 1950's-1960's creating designs that reflected the trends of the time. Buffa's work during the 1960's is characterized by a blend of traditional craftmanship with modern design elements showcasing his influence in the mid-century furniture movement in Italy.
