Each panel is framed by ornate green and gilt scrolling borders and features individual vignettes comprising lush peony blooms, butterflies, birds in flight, and fruiting branches rendered in delicate rose, emerald, turquoise, and coral tones. The vase is flanked by a pair of applied gilt Buddhist lion mask handles, which add dimensionality and sculptural contrast. The neck is adorned with peach and flower motifs—auspicious symbols of immortality and spring—while the foot rim is bordered with alternating lotus and chrysanthemum blossoms.
