A charming hand painted Italian majolica tureen with vibrant faience-style floral motifs in deep blue, green, red, and gold with a very muted light robins egg blue base. The scalloped oval body, ornate scroll handles, and pierced rococo style finial bring a graceful decorative presence to the table or display shelf. Marked “Made in Italy” on the base.
It measures 12.5" wide, 9.25" deep and 8.5" tall. It is in very good vintage condition as shown, with no chips or cracks, only mild age appropriate wear.
