This gorgeous vintage pink depression glass console bowl and candlestick set from the 1930s has a laurel leaf design with daisy-like flowers interspersed around the diameter. The pattern is engraved into the glass as opposed to an etching which is done with acid or a pattern impressed on the glass with a wax mold. As such these more decorative pieces were often referred to as 'elegant glass.'
The bowl measures 11" in diameter and 3" tall, with a wide 6" center opening to accommodate a frog for a flower arrangement. Then candlesticks measure 4ʺW × 4ʺD × 2ʺH.
