Robert Shaw (Delaware, 1859-1912) "'Brandywine at Chadds Ford" [child on the back of a horse and cattle] equestrian chine-colle etching, pencil signed lower right and in plate lower left. Small house remarque lower right. From a series called "'American Memorial Etchings" depicting historic landmarks of Colonial America, published by the Colonial Dames circa 1900-1910.
The Pennsylvania Academy retains a copy of this print in their collection.
Measures 8.25 x 13 inches, image size and 16.5 x 22 sheet size. Etching (in brown ink) on chine collé on cream wove paper
