Made of pottery with a raised design of a Greek mythology image. It is like an inverted plate or bowl - rounded. I do not know Greek, but think the writing on the back is the title of the image on the front? It's some kind of clay, painted black. The image is painted a glossy dark red and white. The back has a stamp in it that is in Greek, and I believe the paper tag in the center with the number is likely a price tag. Assume this is something one might have purchased on a trip. Not sure of the age but just guessing. It is signed and numbered. See less
