For the collector of Majolica, this piece from Sarreguemines France is a must have. A small tureen shaped like a stem of grapes is situated on a grape leaf plate . The purple and green colors are the muted shades characteristic of Sarreguemines pottery. The grapes bowl is attached to the plate, the lid is removable.
The piece is clearly marked on the bottom.
