This antique European glazed stoneware jug with double handles that could be used for hanging were common household items from the 1700s to the 1880s. Historically used for storing liquids like water or milk, the durable pottery features a salt glaze. Recently acquired from a Dutch importer, there are three similar vessels that display beautifully but sold separately. The cool natural color and sculptural lines make a beautiful grouping.
