This mirror can stand alone in a bare room or one above a roaring fire, its beefy wood frame is plenty wide to make a distinct presence in any room. Even when it's not above a mantle and just resting against a wall - looking out of place in a half-empty room, I noticed it. It was labeled NFS (Not-For-Sale), yet I inquired and persisted. The new owner of the house wanted to keep it for themselves, I insisted that it better served my interest to serve you. She agreed to sell it to me, later, we restored the gilt and sheen and hung it on the wall...the rest is history. See less
