This fabric comes from the estate of a New Hope, Pennsylvania interior designer active from the 1970s through the 1990s, whose work reflected refined European taste and a love of exceptional materials. As a fellow designer, I had the opportunity to personally shop her vintage collection of archived and unused textiles, selecting this Rubelli piece for its outstanding artistry and preservation.

The pattern exemplifies Rubelli’s mastery of Venetian craftsmanship and historical chinoiserie revival, blending architectural motifs with lush botanical and avian imagery.
