Featuring incredible joinery, a solid teak construction and the original fabric this chair is ideal for collectors searching for the perfect desk chair or stand alone accent chair. Save for a minor joint repair made in the 1980's, this chair is in stunning original condition. The sculpted back rest, carved from solid Burmese teak, is replete with stunning variegated woodgrains. The original upholstery, in a fabulous vintage-feeling vibrant green cotton blend fabric, shines brightly and offsets the warm teak wood tones.

Most known for his iconic "Cow Horn" chair, renowned Danish furniture designer, Knud Færch was a titan of Danish design in the 1950s. Due to the complexity of Færch's designs, limited numbers of his chairs were produced, making provenance often difficult to attain. The chair remains unmarked, thus we must attribute the chair to Færch. Slagelse Møbelvaerk was a well respected furniture maker and co-owned by the influential Alfred Christensen, who designed and produced the now iconic "Boomerang" chair for Slagelse.
