The jar is heavily and fully decorated with … Read more Large bulbous Rose Mandarin lidded jar with metal strap and locking ring. The jar is heavily and fully decorated with bold and colorful scenes. The front and back sides have a large social scene with twelve ladies with gold decoration in their hair and one man. The panel is surrounded with gold and crimson Greek key decoration. The other two sides have a center panel of three ladies and one man surrounded by a black accent line. The rest of this panel has a white background with decoration of flowers, vases, butterflies ,fruit and other household items. The top and bottom borders are gold backed with colorful decoration of fruit, butterflies and flowers. The lid is secured by the metal strap with a small white and gold foo dog on it. Four gold symbolic foo dog heads decorate the top panel on the jar. The bulbous diameter is 11 inches but the bottom diameter is 8.75. See less
