Vintage Chinese Import pottery Flow Blue decorative plate with a reticulated (pierced) rim featuring a koi fish and monkey motif. It measures 9.5” diameter and 1.5” tall. It has been crafted with great attention to detail, with intricate pierced patterns, vibrant colors of cobalt blue & celadon, and a high gloss finish.
The mark on the reverse is a four-character seal script mark that reads "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" (大清乾隆年製), which translates to "Made in the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing," who ruled from 1736 to 1795. This is a reproduction, circa mid to late 20th century.
