Original vintage abstract expressionist wood block print El Toro “ by Sylvia T Gavurin. Printed on Japan paper archival matted and framed in a contemporary frame. Measuring overall framed size 13" x 17". Unsigned from signed by the artist numbered 7/10
Sylvia T Gavurin (1911 - 2002) was a Los Angeles based artist best known for her printmaking she showed in local exhibits her work is held in several private collections. In the 1940s Sylvia Gavurin was a court stenogrepher for the military. She was assigned to record the trials at Dachau Germany. This had a profound affect on her life and was an influence in her art work. Shipped with clear gallery grade acrylic glass for safe arrival.
