I love this lamp for its candelabra arms -- its decoupage details -- its exquisite lamp shade, and the obelisk base. This lamp dates back to the Victorian period with its ornamental detail of decoupaged wood, which is elm. It was made in the U.S..
It is completed by a silk box shade with metal trim. The lights work perfectly on each of the four arms. They sit perfectly on the raised square tapering or obelisk with ebonized and brass trim base. It measures 36 inches overall height, 8 inches wide, 8 inches deep. A wonderful and rare lighting piece.
We restore, and the lampshade has been recovered in eggshell colored silk with the orioginal trim and each originaldesign feature intact.
