Originally designed by Davis Allen for Stendig in 1983 and known as the Andover Chair, this design was later reissued by Knoll as the Exeter Chair after Stendig went out of business. The chair’s sculptural spindle back and architectural frame reflect Allen’s background in interior design. Made of solid beech wood, this pair has a sleek black lacquer finish and beautiful custom floral upholstery.
