To be candid, it is not terribly watertight and has been treated with sealer to offset the issue where water pressure causes slight leakage when the water level is above the line of glazing on the interior. That line of demarcation is pictured in the photo of the top looking into the vase. But it is an otherwise remarkable and visually striking piece of art that is functional and fun.
