The Front is Embossed with … Read more This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique American Penny Mechanical Gumball Machine - Dispenser. The Front is Embossed with Patent Dates Including 1912 - 1917 & 1923. The Base, Top and Hand Crank Handle are Made Out of Steel and the "Globe" - Gumball Container is Molded Glass. Note that the Front Panel and Penny Slot Mechanism is Nickel Plated Brass. It Still Retains its Original Red Paint as well as its Original "PURE CHEWING GUM - BALL GUM ONE CENT" Decal. It is in Excellent Cosmetic and Working Condition and it Displays Beautifully. It Comes with a Small Brass Padlock and Key for Gumball Refills ( I Ordered These on Amazon ). NOTE That it is Missing the Key for the Bottom Panel that is Used to Remove the Penny's - This can be Seen in the Last Photograph.

To Operate the the Machine Just Drop a Penny in the Slot and Turn the Handle to the Right ( Clockwise ) Until it Stops - Then Back to the Left ( Counter Clockwise ) until it Stops in its Original Position to Dispense the Gum. See less
