Incredibly rare torchiere style halogen floor lamp from Koch & Lowy from the 1980s with a very cool postmodern design! This extra tall floor lamp definitely leans more towards the classy and minimalist side of the Memphis style than the overly colorful, outrageous and whimsical side. The small bowl-shaped metal lamp shade is enameled in a maroon finish and holds a standard halogen light bulb which will be shipped with the lamp. The four black metal posts holding the lamp shade are supported by a weighted pyramid-shaped cast iron base. There are two cords, the dimmer cord which is attached to the base of the lamp and the second cord which connects to the dimmer cord is the one that plugs into the outlet on your wall. The underside of the cast iron base is stamped with "KOCH + LOWY" and "15215-2" which I assume is the model number of this lamp.
Base is 10" x 10" and diameter of lamp shade is 7 1/8"

The dimmer cord is slightly damaged at one specific spot (see photo) but the lamp still works. Best to tape up the damaged spot on the cord for security and to prevent it from further deterioration but rewiring is probably not necessary as the lamp does light up.. The dimmer also works perfectly. less
