Classic English copper plate of Poole Harbour, Dorset. The original painting by J.M.W. Turner and engraved by G. Cook. At the early states of famous painters careers, they would often paint local landscapes, cityscapes architectural monuments and harbors, these paintings, were then transcribed by the engraver into smaller pieces of artwork and enabled middle class citizens the ability to decorate homes.
