Here is a gorgeous, porcelain lidded bonbonniere or trinket box made by Herend featuring hand-painted butterflies and flowers from the Queen Victoria commissioned pattern. It is a classic design dating back to the 1850's. Today, these pieces are still highly collectable and rare. The box is perfect for storing treasured jewelry, small pieces or used as a sugar bowl, etc. It has the most beautiful, figurative stemmed yellow rose on the top of the lid. It also has three lovely, scrolled legs and is trimmed/decorated in gold. Made in Hungary.
