Offered is a mid 20th Century printed textile designed by Swedish artist and ceramicist Ilse Claeson Roempke. The print is titled "Vänner" on the lower left corner (meaning friends or pals) and is ink-signed on the lower right corner.
Ilse Claeson Roempke (1907-1999) was a Swedish potter and textile artist. She worked for Rorstrand between 1926-1938, and taught design in Gothenburg, Sweden as well as creating wall hangings and other textile designs.

The print has since been matted and framed. The vintage Teak wood frame has some minor nicks and scuffs (see photos), but is intact and in overall good condition. Any wear is commensurate with age and past handling of the components. less
