Sidney Michael Dickens (born 1963) is a Vancouver-based artist. He is best known for his highly collected tiles called Memory Books. These 'books' have evolved to become individually handcrafted plaster tiles, measuring 6" x 8" x 1.5" and finished to a porcelain-like quality, and 'cracked' to create an antique feel and appearance.
These four are a lovely collection of fruit and flower impressions, all now retired, prior to 2010: T-150 Lemon; T-100 Plums; T-171 Rose Pompadour and T-145 Versailles Tulip.
This collection would make a beautiful gift.
