Finnish Apila wooden stool, designed by Rauni Peippo from the 1950s.
An iconic piece of Finnish design. The stool is composed of various solid pine elements. The name "Apila" reflects the shape of the seat, which is reminiscent of a four-leaf clover. The stool is unmarked, and the manufacturer is unknown. Most Apila stools had only a sticker as a label.
The stool is in very good condition with some noticeable signs of wear and patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
