Antique Limoges porcelain serving platter. The dish features a central oval painting of a harbor scene with a ship, surrounded by seaweed, and other marine life motifs. It has a scalloped, gilded rim and gold accents on the handles and throughout the decorative elements. Hand-painted by Haviland & Co., Limoges, France. Circa 1880s to early 1900s. Mold stamp August 14th, 1883.
Great condition, just some minor trim paint loss consistent with age and use. Platter measures 24ʺW × 8.75ʺD × 1.75ʺH. Heavy!
