Wonderfully grained 19th century burl walnut Louis Philippe marble top commode from France.
The top is made from lovely black and white marble with loads of matrix. The top is sitting on top of the most gorgeous commode! The top has a wide molded edge which includes a drawer in the front, following down to simple sides, and having four drawers in the front, all made from stunning burl walnut, over a banded base, supported on shaped feet in the front and simple feet in the back, for easy placement against a wall.
