The exhibition poster print is published by The Moderna Museet Modern Art Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. Printed in 1983 in Sweden by Jenstroms in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition. It features an Abstract Expressionist artwork image originally created by De Kooning in 1966 titled " Figure in Marsh Landscape ( Figur I Trasklandskap ) ".

Willem De Kooning 9 1904 - 1997 ) the Dutch born Abstract Expressionist painter is known for his " Action Painting " style artworks. He was a part of artists that became known as The New York School in The Mid Twentieth Century including Jackson Pollock, lee Krasner, Franz Kline, Arshile Gorky, Mark Rothko, hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwell, and Clyfford Still among others.

The works of De Kooning are considered to be some of the most important Abstract Modernist paintings of The 20th Century. The rare out of print extra large format framed exhibition poster print measures 28 3/4" W X 40 1/2" h X 1 1/2" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern natural oak wood satin eggshell finish museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs off handling, and very light minor wear.
