These are Majolica lamps in a deep blue cobalt, adorned with green dragons on each side! The two lamps feature a different portrait of a lady; they face each other on the front. The backs are solid blue. The base of the lamps and the top are old brass with a floral design on the bottom. The finials are not original. The lamps shades come with, unless you don't want them! These are truly stunning and unusual to have a pair. You will never see another set like this! The depth noted below is the diameter of the base. The width is from dragon wing to wing. The height is to the final. These lamps are electric with a 74" cord and turn on/off with the traditional switch at the base of the bulb. The plug is a U.S. standard. See less

I have shown photos of the points of the dragon's wings on the sides. They all have a chipped tip. Only one even shows. There also is a chip on on of the top tips of the wings; also shown in a photo. They are small imperfections. The lampshades have a blemish or two but again, not significant.
