A beautifully detailed small Moorish style box, finely crafted in Spain and sourced from a shop in San Miguel de Allende. The piece features exquisite inlay work of mother-of-pearl, bone, and various exotic woods, arranged in intricate geometric patterns characteristic of Moorish artistry.
The box retains its original brass hinge and clasp, both in excellent working condition, and has shop name on bottom and has been remarkably well preserved for its age. A charming example of early 20th century craftsmanship, small in scale, yet rich in texture and history. Circa 1915–1918.
